Refund policy
Wine is a perishable and regulated product.
We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging
- The product must be in the same condition as received
- You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Due to the nature of our products, no refunds will be issued for bottles that have been opened, even partially.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@thealexandervineyards.com with your order details.
Once approved:
- You will be responsible for arranging the return shipment
- All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your order arrives:
- Incorrect (wrong item received)
- Defective or there is a quality issue with the wine
Please contact us within 48 hours at sales@thealexandervineyards.com with photos and details, and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Please note:
- We are not responsible for, and do not cover, items damaged during transit by the courier
- We do not cover costs for incorrect orders placed by the customer
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected:
- We will notify you of the outcome
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days
Please note:
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at sales@thealexandervineyards.com.
Important Notes
- We reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet the above conditions
- We are not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged during transit back to us
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
